greetings, I am about to buy a new laptop and I have a problem. At home I have my mixer, preamp, soundcard and I have reason but I use samples and use sound forge.I’M no expert but I say when asked Use the best program that works for ”YOU”.My problem is I do college gigs and have a few books written(poetry to perform).I lost my ”Dj”ie.soundman to Violence in Calf. Now I’M in a siuation to eather do a ”poetry reading” (with no music)or rap to a ”CD” which I think is gonna sound a lil whack. What would your advice be for a solo LIVE performer?interms of having pre recorded music already, the and have it all sound mixed when performing, and how to do all the ”cueing”yourself’..gotta get out there after all that home recording! or Is it Impossable?to do ”alone”? Carolyn.
